Wildcard Sites

Skip2 Networks supports wildcard DNS and wildcard Sites on our platform. This is convenient when you need to handle unknown customer subdomains without pre-provisioning each hostname, and it also fits well into development pipelines where ephemeral preview or branch environments are created dynamically.

  1. On the sidebar, click the site selector dropdown and select “Create your first site” or “New site”

  2. Enter the site name and starting with an asterisk *

ℹ️

DNS Hosting If you are planning to use Skip2 for DNS hosting, enter your second-level domain (e.g. skip2.net, without any subdomain) first, and then add a second Site with your wildcard name.
