• Migrated Snitch, a microservice we use for monitoring our endpoints, from one cloud to another in order to solve IPv6 communication issues between the service and our edge network.
• A GeoDNS issue causing requests from NYC area to erroneously route to Hillsboro, Oregon (HIO-1).

Changed

• Reduced failure count and increased failure remember time for triggering Tier-1 server failover, overall making our failover operations more aggressive to prevent users waiting a long time for a successful response.
• Added a caching layer to Snitch to decrease third-party API calls.
